I tried doing this for a week or two about a decade ago. I don’t think I ever got it just right, tried pouring on a spoon and all kinds of ways, it would just mix eventually. lol
Yeah it takes a lot of practice, and I think last night’s went perfectly because it stayed separated almost to the end as well which I don’t know how that worked with the ale going down about equally with the stout when it is at the bottom of the glass but it did. I usually try to use Guinness Harp for the ale and then I drip pour Guinness stout on top with a spoon, both at the same rough temperature, but have to make sure the nitrogen ball in the stout has its time to work as well.
