Just went through security at the Rome Airport. They make the TSA look ridiculous.

* keep your shoes on

* no need to separate your iPads

* simple metal detector

* automated baggage scanner that diverts items to be hand inspected

It was incredibly efficient and far less stressful while using a fraction of the manpower. The TSA needs to be abolished.
