real talk: why do people own chihuahuas?

People own little dogs in general because they are lazy and don’t want to train them. If they are too small to hurt anyone then there’s no point in training them right?
This. Almost like a justification for dog racism. If chihuahuas all became the same size as pitbulls overnight, car accidents and all other dog attack fatalities combined would pale in comparison
