The last one from the DoE seems like a psyop. I couldn't even find good information of how much energy they produced (it's usually between 0 and 5 watts, if that).

Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENRs) do seem possible, but no one, NO ONE, has ever reproduced them consistently. Toyota dedicated a French lab to research LENRs for two years and could never get consistent results. (French jokes aside)

The only feasible fusion technology right now looks to be the ITER, which will be the largest Tokamak-style reactor ever constructed. They're banking on the size being the issue. If it's successful, it could truly open the way to fusion energy. But all this other fluff just feels like bullshit articles.
