The snow on the palm tress is a nice touch.

Isn’t it tho?😳😂

My parents have snow on the coast right now. Just wild.

Honestly, I don't get too bothered by the snow, I actually quite like it. Snow can be quite charming, when you get it at the right time of the year.

Nothing I hate more than having it dump on us too early. I get rattled when we get snowfalls in October. But once we hit end of November or early December, it's chill.

Overall, I think dealing with this every winter makes me appreciate summer that much more when it comes around.

To be fair to you guys, you probably hate it cause you first don't expect it and don't have the equipment to deal with it. Probably not snow boots, maybe no shovel made from snow removal, and no winter tires.

…definitely dont expect it…I don’t think we’ve had more than 1-2” down here in my life time … we got 8-12” in this area this time ( I’m told that hasn’t happened since the late 1800s)

And definitely a no on the snow boots/shovels/chains…🤔maybe the occasional hoarder 😳😂…just no real need for them… this is a 1/100 year event for us but what a great day to have had some of the grand babies☺️… it’s pretty rare to have an entire 24 hour period below 32* where I live🤷🏽‍♂️🫡

Might as well enjoy it, when it's that rare of an event!

Those your grandkids? Super cute

Yes and yes🥹☺️

9 days/nights of frenzied activity, shrieks and choas… this is my “beta test”😂😂😅

I always wonder why grandparents seem to be better with grandkids than their actual children. Is it just because they’re less stressed from work/life or because they’re not your actual kids?

A bit of both from what I see

My parents and my wife’s parents are retired. So already the stress of work is gone. And your second point about not being their kids is definitely true. They don’t have the responsibility like the parents do.

And there’s also the health benefits. Grandparents that spend time with the grand kids actually live longer and are happier. Running around with the little ones is great for them

This is true. Also, my son is a valid replacement for the Chuck Norris Total Gym. Literally had my in-laws throw theirs out when he was born. They are all jacked Chads now.

🤣🤣

I remember when my son was 3 he would make the grandparents run in circles around their house. They were winded. Interval training with the toddler 🤣

That’s good motivation to get the body moving 😂

Where did he go? 🤣🤣

Parents with their kids vs grandparents with their grandkids

I think it's a bit of both. They're retired and just chilling. They also don't have to deal with putting the kids to bed, bringing them to school, ect.

The kids come over. They hangout and have fun. Then the kids leave and it's quiet again. No stress.

Ah nice quality time with the grand kids. That’s great stache.

I love the winter. The snow is beautiful and there’s lots of fun activities to do outside. It’s just when it gets lower than -10 and the sidewalks are icy that it’s less enjoyable. My kids look pretty cute with their snow suits. Daughter looks like Maggie in the winter 🤣

Those window shutters are pure 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
