Well said. Yeah, that's why I never liked the "friend" language around things like Facebook. People take it personal enough without that connotation

I think it’s by design to manufacture drama and draw attention to the platform

I wish Nostr used "subscribe" rather than "follow". I prefer the implication more, I'm subscribing to a feed, not following someone.
