how do you detect i actually read it, not just scrolled past it slowly

although i sometimes i want to come back to it and screenshot it, reply to it or forward it to somebody
so i am not sure if it would make that part more difficult, let's say in occasions that i can't remember the author, but i could remember where it was in my feed
Then you turn the setting off until you figure out how to read what’s in your screen while you scroll. Lol tf kind of a question is that?
i don't think a timer as default is a good idea, mby custom opt-in option
a tick to mark as read would be nice
