oh, it probably works on proton but i'm not paying for a game that isn't native tyvm
yeah i'd got so used to it i stopped playing anything other than a crappy unity 2d pixel game for the last 3 months
i'm really pissed about this... they did the same thing with that cyberpunk game with rutger hauer... oh yeah it runs with shitty proton but what the fuck i was literally just playing the tomb raider game native on linux 3 months ago, why drop it entirely????
these things run inside containers anyway, it doesn't depend on much of anything for support except the linux kernel
and that has been driving me fucking batty since kernel 6
linux 6 versions and AMD are a nightmare, some work, some don't never know what you gonna get
i'm definitely not enthusiastic about paying for very many more of these things in fact i'm probably gonna set my steam to offline mode and freeze its config directory in a backup because i don't have any questions in my mind about what memoryholing they are gonna do next for me
