Sweet, salty, savory, nutty, umami. It's kind of the perfect food.

Had one at this beach doughnut shop in California this year and it was the most incredible thing I've ever tasted.

Can't find a pic with pecans but here's what salted caramel bacon doughnut looks like.

And yes! I love any kind of croissant but an almond croissant is something special. We have a french bakery nearby that makes a great one.
