Would it make sense to have to zap someone before mentioning them?
I feel like this could prevent a lot of spam in the future.
More signal less noise.

Why not make the mention itself trigger a zap? š¤·š¼ I guess that would mean people would only mention people they wanted to get zapped. Or show us how much they really dislike a person where they had to zap them to shit talk them.
Yah like if I wanted to mention @odell in a post, I would have to pay some sats first
Iām sure guys/girls with a big following would prefer to see relevant notifications Vs a bunch of spam
And they could set the amount of sats to mention them.
So if someone wanted to mention me, I could set it at 10 sats
If someone wanted to mention #[3]ā maybe he sets it at 100 sats
