I want to get married and have a family some day.

However, the idea of marriage or more so the idea of committing to another person terrifies me.

Anyone else relate? Or anyone used to and got past this?

I have no problem with commitment but I have an issue with getting Government involved in my relationship via legal marriage. It’s an objectively stupid thing to do.
