I don't know about always, but certainly since oil was discovered in West Texas the state has been a tool of the monetary system. It is largely why we are more or less left alone here.

Texas has been a great example of people coming together to help out their fellow man. I can remember how the Texas people responded to hurricane Harvey. It was all about working together as communities, first responders, and the military. I wish more people understood what it takes to mobilize and respond to a disaster.
As always, the people and the govt are two different things. The people of Texas are remarkable. The govt is clearly captured by Israel.
