My kid was in class and saw snow for the first time in his life outside his classroom window (that’s how rarely it snows here). He screamed snow! And ran outside with the class 😂
I thought that was cute.

Aww 🥰
I assume he made the right decision to just keep running and to never return

I love it when kids don't ask permission. I always told my kids "It's better to beg for forgiveness than ask permission." I also told them, "I'll give you all the freedom you want. But if you do stuff behind our backs you're going to get yanked back hard." When I look back at my childhood, the amount of freedom my parents gave us actually makes me think now that they might have been trying to get rid of us lol. Never knew (but cared) where we were. No curfews (but made us work hard enough during the day we didn't have the energy for mischief). I'll never forget when we went to Mexico City in 1986 and they let me, then 14, and two of my younger friends go for a walk by ourselves. We ended up in an underground video arcade filled with eses that looked like they hadn't seen a couple of whiteys since the last ones they kidnapped. We made it back ok though.
