I've heard of this game but whoa that's a lot of money.
No, most of the money they have raised is in in-game purchases. They have thousands and thousands of players playing it all the time. People have dedicated their lives to it for years.
They've just launched a ship that requires at least 30 players to fly it, it costs $15,000.
