Nearly a year ago, a lot of us called Elon making Twitter a paid app, where a free and unpaid user would essentially become a second class citizen or have the experience become unusable. If the latest round of rumors are true, this will soon become a reality Twitter. Many will flock to Bluesky and Mastodon. Nostr is a forgotten underdog in the eyes of the media. This is okay. This gives us a little more time to build and enhance the onboarding experience. Get ready.

What do you think about the health of the network effects for bsky and nostr
I think that Bluesky will continue to grow since it's marketed as a decentralized Twitter and most people will just jump on board that train. We may see some more Bitcoiners using Nostr more, but that's it, IMO.
I tend to agree, the halving could impact nostr and twitter becoming paid could also but I see the networks much like you said.

So there is that for bluecheck subscribers. Twitter could just roll-out a Lightning Payment to prove someone is not a bot...many have suggested that idea so many times.
