Just run a node on your laptop. Everyday im reading issues with ppl not knowing or just messing things up on umbrel. My node has been running for year no issue. Ya i know some of yall wanna be fancy but thats headaches

Mine keeps crashing, I'm going to switch to umbrel
Laptops can work but need to be always on which they aren't designed for. An old cheap dell optiplex or something like it with 2TB and 8G is a better option for full node.
Umbrel has lots of fan bois but also has lots of problems and can be security risk running random apps on your full node.
I use start9 for a secondary pruned node for lightning.
Im gonna update my stuff soon but haven't decided which route i wanna take. I am leaning more towards start9

I have a Tanto full node by RoninDojo because I am a Samourai Wallet/ Sparrow Wallet user. It is simply the very best dedicated full node hardware/software stack.
I have an old dell that I run start9 on with a pruned node for lightning. I prefer to keep them separate.
Umbrel just works. So does start9
