It's just that, at some point soon, we plebs will need a security entourage to get around. I used to get excited about front running nation states but now it makes me nervous. Since the state is the apex crime organisation and yet to be truly limited and reformed by bitcoin.

Also, the stakeholder adjacent to the state are the oligarchs. Billionaires got to where they are through networks and a fair bit of crime. No way the oligarchy step aside to make way for the citadel bois without a serious gunfight.

Definitely need to not be living in third world UK just waking up too late to the necessity of Bitcoin Reserve. Black mirror society, starts probing citizens for what it can confiscate. The state's equivalent of the $5 wrench probably involves taking houses, business and other assets in lieu... or worse kidnapping family and demanding sats ransom... or even long term prison but gulag style, to break you or make example of you to others. Didn't take much for last US regime to create chill effect on bitcoiners, how much more a desperate state at the tail end of the scramble.

Some coins will end up as donations to the network, as brave bitcoiners show their true resolve against leviathan gone rogue. But life is cheap to a government clinging to power, and eventually they'll collect enough through their reign of terror.
