People should be aware it's a possible attack vector, but I don't really think it's any more dangerous than facebook or twitter really?

It’s an interesting thought experiment- does the content I see or post *benefit* from an identity?

If Saylor gets on and tells me to buy his new shitcoin will I do it?

What about Odell and Marty?

There is obviously a personal benefit to building a good reputation but I don’t think it really has much value for others- outside your local community and friends.

But on the larger scale- if we are leaving behind trust for our money- the fabric that holds society together- why would we hold on to trust for ideas?

Because you have no control over your own data on Nostr. The relays own it. And anything you say or do can be used against you. Plead the 5th for your own good.
