One of the most annoying things in the bitcoin community is the idolatry of “liberty”. This alone won’t lead us very far. Is it that difficult to perceive that the whole worldview that anchors the fiat system was articulated centuries ago precisely in the name of “liberty”? Bitcoin needs a high moral purpose, not just one more juvenile and impractical fantasy.
