Outside of the foreign exchange I only stack, I only buy, I'm always long and I never sell for fiat to "take gains".

I used to stack on the last Friday of the month (our Saturday).
Something to do with CME futures.
It didn't always get the best price but it was pretty good.
I hear you, hitting "the best price" is myth for the most part anyway. I rarely hit the EXACT bottom or pay them back at the very top. But most cases I'm pretty close. I'm just tired that some people keep comparing me to the open mouth traders on YT (99% of them shouldn't be allowed to handle their own money) and/or people leaving a stupid comments on my graphics - I've been doing for over a decade, never asked anyone to copy trade me and I also don't have a newsletter or trading podcast.
All I do is share the things the algos tell me. Nothing else.
If you're saving your fiat, it matters less. If you're taking on risk, it matters more.

I couldn't imagine holding on to fiat any longer than I have to. Makes me anxious and I expect it to disappear from my account any moment or to get hit with unexpected "account management fees". Hence I swap fiat to Bitcoin as quick as I can (most of the time) and just leave enough for bills.

I have and do small sell amounts, but it's not for 'gains' when it comes to BTC, it's so I can buy more at a later date.
Has worked out well so far, and if it never gets low enough, I still have plenty.
That's great. I never short because it's put my principle on the dollar side and I don't want dollars in my accounts. I only take sats from the market and send them to self-custody. Plus, I suck at shorting. Probably because I don't believe in it 😉
Yeah, I don't mess with leverage at all. Not worth the risk for me.
