I have seen so many panicked videos asking WHERE DO WE GO and there isn't a single mention of Nostr. The most random BS apps are getting attention.
I unfortunately have zero presence on Tiktok and my comments get no traction .
It's such a shame. We're just too isolated here in Nostr. These TikTokers are desperate to all move to the same app so they can stay in touch. And I'm sitting here like you could own your identity and social graph forever on Nostr 😩

Nice to meet you as well! And I personally don’t think TikTok is going anywhere. I think it’s mostly a big game of “chicken” - however, I have the same beef (excuse all the meat metaphors) with TikTok that I have with other non-nostr media which is: it’s all controlled by invisible hands. Can’t wait for a TikTok alternative to surface built on web3. It’s only a matter of time 😎
Is there an Nostr app with a similar TikTok experience? If not, why would users jump here? It doesn't give them what they're looking for.
I personally avoid TikTok because I don't like the privacy and UX. That said, if a Nostr app had endless scrolling of short videos with a good algo, that would be a landing place for TikTok users. #asknostr
