That's not a bad idea; the smallest token I can create is >400 characters, so two messages of a string could work

Just more of a hassle

This is why #reticulum is superior imo

Meshtastic is great for easy-to-use comms (LoRa), but limited to just that

Whereas reticulum is protocol comma agnostic (use WiFi, LoRa, HAM, etc anything) and have it all work together at high bandwidths

Really cool. This is my 2025 learning project.

Mesh? Or ecash?

or both?😎

Mesh, I love me some ecash already.

Great to play with

Just get a simple Heltec device (start with two) for ~$50 and have some fun between the nodes

If you like it, get a t deck as its an all-in-one device that doesn't need your phone paired via Bluetooth to communicate

Good to know thank you

#reticulum seems really cool! Haven’t gone down that rabbit hole yet buy look forward to watching it develop.

I'll share my setup with everyone I keep bounching around from project to project😅

I live in tight knit community of 30 people on a remote private road. Really would love to setup a Ecash system for us to have our own private “Venmo”

That's one of my goals for these setups

Not just value transfer (money), but also excellent reliable communications

Noshtastic has fragmentation and reliable delivery
