My first Automatic chronograph #Watchstr. I had no intent on purchasing a new watch but I had to investigate this bargain. Long story short this watch is vintage at this point, but technically new old stock. The watch is Automatic movement but is packaged in a box that has quartz tags so they charged quartz price 🤷🏿‍♂️ After thorough research I came to the conclusion that this couldn't be a quartz watch, and also it would feature the Valjoux 7753 movement according to research. It's certainly a automatic Chronograph 😍

Some what. It's a sweeping seconds hand. Most people refer to sweeping seconds as automatic. Technically a mechanical watch can be both. Also there are a few quartz movements that produce a sweeping seconds hand.

Worst case I would have wasted a few hundred bucks. I considered a quick flip, But since it's the only chronograph in my collection I will hang on to it for a while
