But haven't heater's been modified to be quieter?

Correct. They just come with better fans.
So I'd need to switch out fans?
Sorry. I’m not doing a good job with this. Let me rest.
If you are looking for heater first, but also mines. Check out that Avalon mini3 from Canaan. That’s really all you would need. Pull it out of the box and plug it in (110v)
If you wanted more DYI. You would buy a real miner. Like a S19 or S21 And replace fans. Run Ethernet. And a 220v power. And have to do ducting and such.
The link I sent is the quick easy route.
I gotcha 🤙 Thanks brother 🙏🙏
You’re welcome. Happy to have a more detailed chat if you would like.
I use an old S9 in my office as a heat source. And I’m looking into more options for the whole house and my water heater.
Currently renting, so not doing any property improvements. When we build a house, the build will have mining in the equation.
Yeah that Little baseboard guy looks perfect for you then. 💪
How many sq feet would you say it can heat? During winter, it gets below zero here on occasion.
My nano s from canaan is a great heater for my office, but probably insufficient for a larger below zero space.
I don’t know for sure with this one, but I would guess at 800 watts it’s probably close or better than those larger edenpure ceramic heater things. Those are usually 1200-1500watts. The difference is those kick on and off. These you can run steady at different watts to keep the room temps steady. Esp if you use light fans or ceiling fans to spread the air.
I can heat my 1200sq ft basement to 68-70 degrees in the middle of winter at about 500-600watts from an old S9 and that thing is old as fuck.
Bent just had a guy on TFTC talking about a company he's starting that is going to do this
