A tracker is a piece of software meant to collect data about you or your usages.

εxodus does not decompile applications, its analysis method is legal.

I always use MyMonero wallet, but not the app, but the site in the Tor browser.

It depends on the version. The new one has no trackers.

Because MyMonero wallet is a lite wallet it is not great for privacy. Although slightly more convenient, they know a lot more about your transcations than using something like Cake Wallet, Monerujo, Stack Wallet, etc.

Also, even the creator recommends avoiding their web wallet because of all the security issues involved.

Just a heads up if you didn't know.

Yes, I found out a few months ago that it has my Viewkey and can see my transactions, that's why I'm thinking about using Monerujo.

PS: Regarding using MyMonero in the browser, I have to say that I only use the Tor browser for doing that and I trust this browser more than the MyMonero app.

I don't like that

I mean, I guess it's nice for the app owner to know what I clicked when

But as I think about it, could someone match my usage data with on chain data to identify me?

Or am I paranoid?

Or should we all just accept this tracking?

Because otherwise feels like I'd have to be a total outcast, running everything on my hardware, open source and do a code review

If your wallet contains Google you are the product and surveiling you is the goal.

Don't support developers that rely on Google products to improve UX.

If you are using an IOS phone or Android with Google Play Services I am not sure even with the wallets I sent you, you can expect privacy.
