This honestly solidified my position against Knots. The Ego on this man is crazy, he's not the savior of Bitcoin. There are so many people working on maintaining Bitcoin and fixing critical issues with it and running full nodes. For Luke to say he is the only savior is disingenuous and leads to more cult like behavior from people who do not understand the mechanics of Bitcoin and how it operates and creates blind obedience through this type of posts.

Luke is compromised on how he runs his server which people pull Knots from, lost his 200 BTC due to bad opsec, and has a conflict of interest with the mining pool he promotes. Of which the backend is closed source still which they claim to be the champions of open source.

I am not in support of Core because they've made some bad choices and some behave like children. But at least there's more credibility in the maintenance of Core itself. Don't upgrade to V30 if you don't agree with it, just stick to older versions of Core. #Bitcoin #KnotsvsCore #Ocean #LukeDashjr #OP_Return

It is not about the man.

It is about the fact that any position of power available will attract the wrong person at some point to abuse it.

It doesn't matter if it is the capability to print money, the capability to change the basic functioning of bitcoin or any other position with power.

If such a position exists it will be taken by the wrong person ar some point.

Freeze the release.

The maintenance of bitcoin simply yields too much power not to attract the wrong people sooner or later.

I agree with most of your words friend. I wouldn't say ossify Bitcoin just yet though. There is still a lot of work that needs to be done for it to be stable and with minimal bugs.
