I actually don’t know any of the “new bitcoiner social” people either. It’s like there’s a new corner of bitcoiners that created their own “drink Bitcoin light” community and we never got the memo I guess. I found out there are some huge accounts on the Twits that are “bitcoin famous” and I’ve literally never seen them… or at least didn’t remember them. They apparently don’t write much of anything at least. 😂

IMO it's very sus. I heard an absolute normy with a podcast say he bought bitcoin at $2.00 on a podcast yesterday. No he didn't... I can detect a bitcoiner - there's something in common, hard to nail down. So why did he say that...

lol, yeah that’s some bullshit

I’ve been off xitter for a year and I don’t consume any Bitcoin content outside of what I see on Nostr.

I do not support or follow influencers on nostr and get a lot more value from plebeians vs the big accounts constantly trying to shill me shit I don’t need and who just say a bunch of stuff that isn’t original and that I’ve heard 500 times.

I’m well past burnt-out on Bitcoin podcasts and influencers.

I feel you. I still like to keep a pulse on it

I feel like I learn everything I need on Nostr now. But no judgement, you do you.

I’ve been interested in Bitcoin since 2019 and I studied / used this tech like it was tertiary curriculum. After 4 years I’d had my fill, but still will revisit good Bitcoin books and talk Bitcoin on Nostr. Still v much an interest of mine, just can’t do the pods and influencers anymore. Not in me.

I’m read-only for some time now, and recently-ish came to nostr to reconnect a bit more and find more signal. So far so good, less Twitter reading too
