That’s beautiful, I love how the colours blend in brightness. Very skilled indeed 💜
All the materials used in this carpet are natural. From the wool thread obtained from sheep's hair to the colorful threads dyed with plant-based dyes. Occasionally, ink was also used to make the threads shiny, like the black color present in this carpet. However, the dyeing techniques of the past have undergone many changes compared to today.
I think Persian rugs are right at the number one spot for the most beautiful functional things. I can’t think of many hand made things around the home that come close to their majesty. The huge ones are mind blowing 🤯
I agree with you. That's why the beauty of Persian rug has adorned the palaces of kings and famous museums. Because the creation of these handwoven masterpieces is not limited to just one person; rather, many artists, including designers, dyers, weavers, trimmers, and others, play a role in creating such artistic works, all contributing to its longevity. That's why I want to write a bit about these beauties here and show how a my digital artwork can be transformed into a physical version.
