Indeed. It may look cool, but unless you are in a stationary position. This is going to be heavy and cumbersome for reloads. I'd rather just slap my 50 round drum mag on my AR10 and call it a day.

well, if it's more reliable and it can do both then i'm all for it
you can put a lot of cover fire out with the same gear just for the price of a belt fed drum attachment
Most drums are less reliable than a good belt fed.
