Mozilla’s actions have been rubbing many Firefox fans the wrong way as of late, and inspiring them to look for alternatives. There are many choices for users who are looking for a browser that isn’t part of the Chrome monoculture but is full-featured and suitable for day-to-day use. For those who are willing to stay in the Firefox ā€œfamilyā€ there are a number of good options that have taken vastly different approaches. This includes GNU IceCat, Floorp, LibreWolf, and Zen.

The tragedy of Firefox is that it had everything it needed to be the true alternative—open-source, independent, and privacy-focused—yet Mozilla keeps making choices that push users away. Forks like LibreWolf and IceCat prove there’s still demand for a Firefox done right. The question is: will Mozilla ever listen, or are they content with their slow decline?

Interesting no mention of https://mullvad.net/en/browser. Anyone with views on this?

Mozilla, in my opinion, is turned to the dark side, like Google. Browsers are important, but people are not realizing that the browser is an issue. It's the services like websites. Everybody's using Google, Facebook, Twitter, instead of having their own websites and own servers. People use AWS Amazon for services and don't provide their own service rollouts. They don't use really GoDaddy anymore. They just use Amazon. The internet is not the same it used to be. There's very few outlets nowadays for actual true information and it's shrinking by the day.
