I just picked up this second-hand desktop Lenovo ThinkCentre M73 for our Nostr booth at #FOSDEM
What OS with a GUI should I install?
I’ve worked with Lubuntu and Linux Mint in the past, but I’m open to try something else.

I'm a KDE Neon user myself. Haven't done much distro hoppin' in awhile. Maybe try out some XFCE based distro?
Not sure about the spec.
As you're familiar with Linux Mint, you might want to try the Xfce version of LM.
Xfce is comparatively lightweight, modular, simple, and a no-bs desktop. You might like it.

Stable - pop in PopOS 22.04 or something built around KDE. Edgy with minor bugs - PopOS Cosmic (alpha ATM).
Ditto, Pop!_OS has been working well for me.

Vanilla Ubuntu or Debian is probably the easiest to debug and research in case anything doesn’t work.
