I only read the first paragraph but it sounds like he realized Blue sky doesn't solve any problems. It's basically the fediverse but worse.
Really clarifying. It explains very well the spirit that moved nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m to support and fund Nostr.

He is probably just trying to position Block to partner with X for the upcoming payments feature. Bluesky can be sacrificed now that he thinks nostr is a viable path forward. Risky bet considering how early both protocols are. Time will tell.
His recent post is more evidence. Elon probably told him to stop positioning the protocols as a replacement to Twitter, which he has great influence to do.
