I've been listening to a lot of podcasts, recently, and consuming information on all kinds of subjects. It feels like my brain has no limit to the amount of information it craves. I am learning about a ton of topics, going into deep dives on many, and finding a lot of people with similar interests and values, my tribe.

But, when I listen to music, it taps into some other part of my brain. It resonates at a different frequency. I sing, and I feel immersed in it. I feel the emotion of the song. Music must be on some higher order than information. It must echo Beauty or Truth more closely.

I've made this discovery time and again. Maybe writing it down will help give it some permanence in my mind. I need to remember to make time for music.

Have you got some podcast recommendations? I can recommend Fall of Civilizations for starters, an oldie but a goodie

Cool, I'll check it out :)

I really like the audiozine from nostr:nprofile1qqsy6j4hxl30hdd0pl2epd9harr0uakn5q4f0y000ldv7cqlneg04kqpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz8thwden5te0dehhxarj9e3hjurgv4e8qatwdvh8gmmyv9uj7qghwaehxw309ahx7um5wghxy6t5wp6ku6ewvekj7su0fdq

He's doing some amazing DIY things with analogue tech, and I haven't really heard anything like it. It has really interesting history on cryptography and decentralization, showcases creative writing and music from fans, and has inspired me to make physical media part of my everyday. It's a passion project him him, and the quality shows it.

This sounds like a fun one, thanks!

Aww, thank you!

Also, Cypherpunk Bitstream is interesting. A couple OG cypherpunks give their unique takes on the modern movement.

I don't think they've published new content, recently, but there is a great backlog.

This is already on my to-listen list :-)

Young Heretics has some great insights into classical western civilization that make it worth checking out.

This sounds up my street too, thanks again
