I mounted a tire on my splitting block. It saves me a lot of picking-up-firewood to split again. Especially useful for making kindling. Can recommend
My dad does the same. Had a friend try to convince me to use a ratchet strap for the same purpose. I didn’t comply. 😂
Luckily there’s no shortage of offcuts from the workshop for kindling.
