i have one goal is to somehow ride a surfboard to take pics of a surfer...maybe the same board? need a waterproof camera as well. Need to figure the logistics of this out.

I would just wing it…sit on a board and film with your phone. Maybe with a waterproof bag around that you can wrap around your arm with a band.
