People have a false impression that we get paid to do this.

I've always known it's FOSS
That means it's free to use and open-source.
It doesn't differentiate between self-funded or externally-funded.

If one is seeking funds , I am sure they have options to work for corporates.. open source devs don't chase charity ..that's like the starting point ..

We usually have other sources of income.
FOSS is basically an unpaid part-time job in addition to the full-time job that pays the bills. That's why projects constantly get abandoned and it can be hard to motivate developers.
People gotta eat.

We're not those sorts of devs and I prefer my own PO.

With more coming in the future! We legit have 3-5 years' worth of ideas (at least at the rate we can manage doing it part-time 😅). NostrSDK is just the foundation.
We're trying to avoid anything very trendy or gimmicky, as we can't keep up with people who focus on those things because they can devote 60 hours a week to Nostr dev.
But we have some very novel structures and workflows, that I think will be a pleasant surprise.
