Had a little chitchat with a red-haired fair girl who has a summer job as a controller at a water lock. Easy job, well paid, everything is automated, so you just read/write/sunbathe and occasionally flip a switch to open the lock one way or the other. My mind immediately served me a few scenarios of how she could be controlling more than watergates in that little hut of hers. Sitting under her desk 8-to-6 seems like a fun thing I would go for if my younger self had had the opportunity. 😋
