I'm conservative and I'm celebrating. It's worthless, the concerns are legitimate and just because other companies do what they do, that does NOT justify its continued existence.
Even if TikTok is 100% garbage posts the United States should not be banning it. Good news though... Americans will find alternatives and learn Chinese in the process if so required...
If it's a potential threat to national security by our most powerful rival, it's well within the federal government's purview. In fact, it's one of the few actions they've taken in the last 5 years I actually wholeheartedly agree with. The federal government was meant to keep us united and secure on the international stage and, for once, it actually did its job.
TikTok offered to host all data in the United States. This has 0 to do with national security and 100% to do with censorship.
That argument would work if it was actually a free speech platform. It's not. It's a big tech platform. That's just cope, and now the cancer has returned. Unbelievable BS.
