You mean default No avatars? I always thought the idea was they're meant to be so plain that people feel compelled to change them, no?
Maybe the zilly robots are too good, if anything?
I use cat mode from Robohash on Comingle. But Damus-themed avatars would be cool that vary based on npub for those who don’t have (or can’t find) display pictures.
