I'm having watermelon for my appetizer this evening.๐Ÿ˜

Ripe watermelon is sweet, cooling and hydrating. It's the perfect antidote for a hot summer day. In Ayurveda it can be used to reduce inflammation, fatigue, excess thirst, odema and kidney infection.

Watermelon is heavy on the digestive system, so it should be eaten in moderation, ideally on its own and during the day when digestive fire is at its peak.
