Thanks for hosting that when you did. Didn't use it much but was always thankful.
Get zapped
Sob. I'll miss it. It's been my main social media since I got booted off Twitter in 2020 :P Thanks for keeping it up so well for so long.
RIP Mastodon

Don’t you sort of think it sucks that 99% of people using lightning will end up having to use a centralized provider? Not what we really wanted is it?
I’m not a groupie or ideologue, and I will be the first to agree the BCH devs have failed hard many times, but it still is a more decentralized and free system than LN is if you have to rely on some company just to get a wallet address you can use with nostr.
Honestly it’d be better to use monero.
That first week was incredibly fun on hackers. Probably a necessary intermediate step. Thanks for putting it out there.
Was fun indeed
Thanks 🙏 for helping us noobs find the signal quicker. 🤙

Nostr identity should be transferable like a bitcoin you first have on exchange and then move it to the coldcard. Until then, nostr identity mechanism is deeply flawed.
At one time you mentioned that you were considering possibly using the bitcoinhackers.org accounts for Nip 5 identifiers. Any thoughts on that now?

Might be more trouble than it’s worth :)
Followed you to Nostr after bitcoinhackers.org went down and I needed a new place to squat.
Thanks for hosting us all this time.
The explanation on the website does not really explain the sudden shutdown. There are ways to gracefuly sunset an instance. It was not done. That points to the possibility of a some kind of technical problem. However, I've managed to notice Luke's toot about searching for a new instance ASAP, so he somehow knew it was going to happen.
