Like it or not, there is no “Nostr needs to decide.” The decentralization and absence of significant capital investment gets in the way of any true leadership. I understand Jack’s reason for not wanting to be the “CEO” but a handful of developer grants isn’t going to cut it.

You don't need money or centralization to be a leader. Jesus taught us that. You just need a more powerful message and a convincing group to spread it. And that group needs to be tireless.
We are simply going to knock on dev doors, until the quality improves.
Also, for the record, nobody (and we have applied to two different Nostr-y funds) has been willing to fund our development and we are still here. And lots of the projects that were funded are no longer here.
