I've heard there's a crypto flavour to the big meetup in Adelaide but there's a couple of solid Bitcoiners over there. They're a bit quieter about their meet-up but I'm not sure if they still meet.

Yeah there’s a meetup every months in Adelaide, I’ve been wanting to go but it has fallen on my week away for work so far. I think next month I should be free for it :)

The Bitcoin Bush Bash is definitely on my list! I’m keen to meet Bitcoiners in person.
Yeah the PoW required to get to one certainly weeds out most of the Bitcoin tourists.
They're high signal & totally worth your time
The local meetups can be a crap shoot but if you can find a good one theiy're awesome in between Bush bashes.
