killer app of nostr is the address book of lnurls tied to cryptographic identities so that I can zap all the people who bought me drinks after my phone died last night.

agreed but also makes sense to me to deprecate lnurl in the future for a nostr native alternative

we already have pubkeys and nip5s, why not just use those as payment identifiers and nostr for comms?

Fiatjaf suggested this in the original pr for zaps, it was ignored because damus and snort had already implemented it with lnurl. imo that was a mistake.
