Looks similar to the Samsung T7 drives with fingerprint scanner
I prefer a PIN code over fingerprints, because an attacker can't just press my finger to it to get access. I have to willingly reveal the pin to access the device.
It's not one of a kind at all. There's a whole bunch of pin-protected USB sticks; I have one myself that looks like it's not snakeoil. I'll see if I can dig up the brand later.
