Haha not a weird question… iris is so random right? when I decided to create a nostr account that was transparent… I approached it at as the lowest common denominator user… I actually had heard about nostr sometime early mid summer.

At the time, I was about 4ish? years into contributing to another decentralized project… I feel differently about that project than I did in the beginning.

Nostr not having a native token appealed to me but I wanted to see the decentralization process from a different perspective… one where I didn’t have the position of privilege so to speak.

So, I approached nostr as I imagined my friends would… and that’s kind of how I ended up on iris… there’s more to that but that’s the gist
