Also if a normal Instagram user starts using Threads and realizes that communication over simple text is better than stupid moving images they might want to try a more established and more interesting network like Twitter and hopefully a more open one iike Nostr.

nobody uses threads honestly, ppl who made accounts realize how stupid it is and can’t delete it without deleting their entire ig account.

But threads accounts are instagram accounts so they likely don't care which one users are on, they're still extracting data to be able to sell more targeted ads. The text in threads probably enriches the data or at least makes it easier to process compared to photos and videos
