#bitcoin has taken me on such an incredible journey of self improvement over the last 3 years.

I’ve improved my finances and understanding of money.

My health is better.

My privacy is much improved.

I’ve ditched Facebook & Instagram and removed myself from google search results.

My political understanding has matured immensely, so I can now see through lots of the 🐂💩.

I’ve made a bunch of new friends and drifted from people that aren’t.

Most importantly I’m a better father.

Up until a few weeks ago I thought Twitter would be the one channel I’d hang on to, I’m not bandwagoning here as I know others are doing the same but I just nuked my twitter account. I don’t need it anymore #nostr is that much better! If it falls apart so be it but for now…

The future is bright, it’s orange and purple!

Probably just 🍑

I didn’t realize how much I didn’t like twitter until I got banned. One month later I started using nostr.

Now I don’t even see the point of the fediverse.

Wtf did you get banned for?

Told a journo to “have fun up against the wall”. I’m pretty sure that’s what did it but I can’t be sure because they never tell you what you did “exactly”.

Twitter is part of the fiat problem

More so now that Elon has turned it full-blown rent seeker, requiring $11/mo for premium service and algorithm PLUS photo ID requirement

He’s simply bending the knee to USG

suddenly all non-KYC buying options for BTC in the states have vanished overnight..congress has applied pressure and all services have complied (because they must)

see how quickly the money changers apply power?

I’m seeking other ways around the globe and I’m finding them

non-KYC buys are worth the spread

don’t believe me?

wait till they send you a letter in a few years asking about BTC purchased to XXX phone number using XXX identification showing XXX John Smiths face

It’s coming

#nostr #bitcoin

anonymity is not a crime

The Fediverse certainly has it's points and benefits. A huge benefit I say would be communities based on certain interests but still being able to communicate with the wider network. A big flaw is not being able to completely move you're account and data easily. There's no guarantee that the admin of your instance won't shut things down.

Yeah. But more than that, at least for me, is the feel. It just never really “clicked”. And I have to have separate login credentials for every instance I want to join.

I’m pretty sure someone is going to build a relay that can somehow plug in to fedi and I’m thinking sooner rather than later. I think that will be a very good thing for nostr and fediverse both.

I just run my own single user instance. I've been blocked by around 20 instances tho, simply for stating that I don't believe children should be allowed hormone therapy and that I don't consider trans women to be actual women.

If you're a grown adult, do with your body as you wish. Don't mutilate children or interfere with their natural development and don't tell me what I should consider a woman to be.

Instance blocking should be removed, imo. With the exception being instances who post illegal content like child pornography and other sickening things like that. Blocking should be left up to each individual user.

Its called mostr.

You got the best name in social. 👏🏆
