Sucks I have 300000 SATs in a lightning wallet. I need to spend them on food and what not. No route available. What are we doing here? Does this stuff work?

Muun - I believe will accept lightning which can be converted to onchain in the app.
If you can find a vendor that accepts lightning payments, though its still early for that in most places. Doesn't hurt to regularly ask "do you accept Bitcoin?"
I currently use the Fold card though because then I can have a mostly Bitcoin standard but convert small amounts into USD as needed for debit card use.
