First 🌞 dried and the can be put in a jar with olive oil, balsamic and some thyme.
Nice. Definitely going to do this. Thanks.
You're welcome, best for pizza topping and salad dressing 🤌
How does one dehydrate such an amount?
Tiny slices with help of salt and abit of lime fo extra dehydration and also avoiding fungus, drying wont be hard during the aummer time.
Work in progress , it takes few days for them to completely dry up.

Looks like you halfed them, can I slice them like a burger? Or will they drain?
These are apricots, harder to dry compared to tomatoes, it depends how strong the 🌞 is, usually will get the hang of it after few batches, i dont think there will be a problem if you cut them in half mate.
So they are apricots lol. What is you daily highs? Humidity? And do you bring them in at night?
Apricot it is 😂 will use it during the fall/winter on muesli and other stuff. Daily high would be around 35 celsius. During the night I either cover them with cotton sheets or bring them inside if a small batch.
And for humidity 18-20%
My climate! I wish
We were at 35C & 78% humidity yesterday. It's like living in a sauna
I slice them, fry them in butter or a used bacon pan, and melt provolone cheese over them. Some Italian seasoning to finish makes it even better.
I was thinking more for preservation, but I love tomatoes and different ways to eat them fresh. I will definitely give this a try. Thanks for the idea.
pomodori secchi sott’olio
I did a few batches of lacto fermented tomatoes and one ended up with a noticeably alcoholic twist. That got me to wanting to make tomato moonshine out of the next bunch I pick.
Can tomato basil soup and ketchup.
